Triennalen har fået stor international mediedækning og er blandt andet blevet omtalt i CNN Style, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Vogue og tyske ZDF. Også kunstmagasiner som Frieze, Artnet, The Art Newspaper og Monopol har dækket udstillingen. Samlet set har ARoS og ARoS Triennial haft godt 1160 digitale internationale presseopslag, hvilket har givet en annonceværdi på omkring 77 millioner kroner i 2017.
- Vi har haft tre klare målsætninger med triennalen. Vi ville øge den internationale opmærksomhed på ARoS og vores måde at tænke på, triennalen skulle have høj kunstnerisk kvalitet, og udstillingen skulle samlet set have et højt besøgstal. Alt dette har vi opnået, siger Erlend G. Høyersten.
I alt har godt 863.500 indtil videre besøgt ARoS Triennial. Heraf er knap 300.000 indløste billetter til The Past på museet.
Etableringen af ARoS Triennial The Garden – End of Times, Beginning of Times er en del af ARoS Visionsplan 2020, der er sat i værk under ledelse af Erlend G. Høyersten.
ARoS Triennial The Garden – End of Times, Beginning of Times er et af højdepunkterne i Aarhus som Europæisk Kulturhovedstad 2017 og er støttet af Aarhus 2017.
