Press release • Oktober 2024
Twenty years ago, Aarsleff led the process of building what would become one of Europe’s most innovative art museums. Currently, the construction company is hard at work on ARoS' major museum expansion, which is planned to open in 2025. Now ARoS and Aarsleff can look forward to an even stronger partnership as Aarsleff is announced as Main Corporate Partner for ARoS from October 1, 2024.
“We are proud to present Aarsleff as our new Main Corporate Partner. Together we’ll be creating completely new spaces for transformative art experiences, for innovation, reflection, and for shared experiences – locally, nationally, and globally,” says Rebecca Matthews, Museum Director at ARoS.
Art is a need to have
The partnership provides a number of benefits for Aarsleff. Among other things, Aarsleff employees and partners can look forward to exclusive access, workshops, and special events at ARoS. As ARoS’ Main Corporate Partner, Aarsleff gets the opportunity to engage their employees and activate their core values in interaction with ARoS' vision.
“It is meaningful for us to contribute to creating new spaces for art and culture to unfold. Part of Aarsleff's DNA is creativity and innovation; this is something we ask for every day from our employees,” says Jesper Kristian Jacobsen, CEO of Aarsleff, adding:
“Art helps us see things anew and shakes up our usual way of thinking. In that sense, art is not nice to have, but a need to have in a time where change and innovation is a necessity in many industries.”
Aarsleff retains their membership in ARoS' CEO network, ARoS Ambassadors, and the business network ARoS Art Club.
About ARoS
ARoS is an international art museum located in Aarhus. With five galleries and an entire floor dedicated to immersive installations, ARoS offers an important space for recalibrating the past, negotiating the present, and imagining the future.
ARoS’ collection contains more than 8.000 works including masterpieces by national and international artists.
