Look up! in the autumn break with ARoS and LEGO® Space

During the autumn break from October 12 – 20, ARoS invites you to explore the sky and build galactic LEGO® creations.

This autumn, ARoS sets its sight on the sky in anticipation of the launch of The Dome, a Skyspace by James Turrell.  The group exhibition Sky Gazing explores how renowned artists across time have interpreted the vast spaces of cosmos.

The exhibition is also the focal point of this year's autumn break activities, where we will be building sky objects with LEGO® bricks and explore the world above us: Clouds, rockets, birds, planets, stars and much more!

You and your family can join the creation of a large LEGO mosaic throughout the week, inspired by one of the works you can experience in Sky Gazing.

You can also build your own space station, planet or sky filled with clouds in the LEGO Salon, which will be filled with LEGO pools and thousands of LEGO bricks! It all takes place on ARoS Level 3.

“We look forward to welcoming a lot of children and their families during the autumn break for a playful encounter with art. Our partnership with the LEGO Group is an important part of making art and creativity accessible to everyone – we hope many of you will join us and play along,” says Museum Director Rebecca Matthews.

“We're delighted to contribute to the ARoS Sky Gazing exhibition and to be able to offer visitors of all ages the chance to build their own spacecraft and other celestial objects. With plenty of LEGO bricks available, all you need is your own limitless imagination and creativity,” says Gulshanoy Tolipova-Gourdin, Marketing Director LEGO Nordics.
