The first time was two years ago when the ARoS Triennial The Garden – End of Times, Beginning of Times won in the category Best Public Art/Exhibition or Installation and this time, the exhibition Tomorrow is the Question is among the finalists in the category Global Humanity. A total of ninety-nine exhibitions and art productions from twenty-seven countries and institutions, including Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, the Van Gogh Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art have been nominated in thirteen categories. The winners will be disclosed on Monday 11 May at an online Facebook event. This is the sixth time the worldwide award ceremony is held.

- We’re immensely proud of, once again, being nominated for a Global Fine Art Award. Tomorrow is the Question was an important exhibition, addressing our common future and the challenges facing us in relation to the climate crisis, for example. Perhaps it’s even more important today in the midst of the corona crisis, because the works invited reflection on the condition of the world and posed questions contributing to shape the world of tomorrow, says Erlend G Høyersten, director, ARoS.

Tomorrow is the Question was created in a collaborative venture between ARoS and Luise Faurschou, founder of the organisation ART 2030, the purpose of which is to unite art with the UN’s 17 Global Goals. The art platform artnet has dubbed ART 2030 the most ambitious art project ever. 

- Art can be instrumental in discussing and visualising the Global Goals. Tomorrow is the Question was an exhibition featuring world-class art that provided insight, hope, and inspiration for action in the belief that, together, it’s possible to create a better future. It gives me great pleasure, therefore, that the exhibition has been nominated in the category Global Humanity, says Luise Faurschou, curator, founder, and director of Faurschou Art Resources & ART 2030.
